Stanford University Global Ecology Research Center, Stanford, CA

Architect: EHDD Architecture, San Francisco, CA

The Global Ecology Research Center is a low-energy laboratory and office building developed for the Carnegie Institution of Washington. The facility is used to conduct interdisciplinary research on the interactions of Earth's ecosystems.

CSA provided acoustical recommendations for the new 10,000 square foot building including open labs, clean work labs, offices, meeting rooms, and a conference room. We provided recommendations speech privacy, room acoustics, sound isolation, and mechanical noise and vibration control.
