Hakkasan, San Francisco

Architect: Woods Bagot, San Francisco

With locations in London, New York, Miami, and the Middle East, the upscale Chinese restaurant Hakkasan opened to great expectations in San Francisco. The over 12,000 square foot space, located near Union Square, includes private dining rooms, two kitchens, expansive dining areas, and a central bar/lounge. With an eye toward elegant design, it was important to address environmental and mechanical noise concerns, as well as to control acoustics throughout the restaurant. Since its opening in late 2012, Hakkasan San Francisco has become highly regarded by reviewers and patrons alike for its stunning interior and comfortable dining environment.
