Thomas J. Corbett, CTS | Principal Consultant

Thomas's professional career began with teaching technical theatre at the university level. His background has enabled him to assess the user's audiovisual needs, including sound, lighting, and video from a presentational perspective. As a Communications Technology Specialist (CTS), Tom anticipates user requirements for systems installed in both small and large institutions. His ability to both understand and articulate solutions to meet his clients' needs has been the hallmark of his career.

In addition to 20 years of teaching experience, Tom has over 25 years of audiovisual and facility design consulting experience. Tom’s library projects include the San Jose public branch libraries and the California State University, Monterey Bay library. Worship space projects include St. Mark's Lutheran Church (SF), St. Mary's College chapel, and synagogues in San Ramon and Campbell. Tom has consulted on corporate distance connectivity projects for Cypress Semiconductor, Verisign, Intuit, and Marvell. Executive Briefing Center projects include Hewlett Packard and Sun Microsystems.
