Kenneth W. Lim | Consultant

Growing up, Kenneth always had questions, breaking apart toys to their mechanics, curious to gain a better understanding of the world. Kenneth’s introduction to engineering design began in high school where he enrolled in a regional occupational program (ROP) for engineering. This class introduced him to all aspects of design, from CAD drafting to designing RC cars and underwater roving vehicles.

Kenneth further pursued his passion for engineering through his college years, graduating with a bachelor’s in electrical engineering from California Polytechnic State University. During college, Kenneth spent his summers interning at various aerospace companies where he helped design and develop avionic systems and test harnesses for flight vehicles. One of his projects involved designing an ultra-low power headphone amplifier to provide a safe and efficient means of communicating in an oxygen enriched environment. For Kenneth, this experience was an introduction to the field of acoustical engineering.

At Salter, Kenneth works with the technology department to design audiovisual, security and telecommunications systems. Since his time at Salter, Kenneth has worked on commercial buildings, multi-family residences, K-12 education, and higher education projects.
