Jason R. Duty, PE | Vice President

Jason's involvement in the performing arts, including theatre, choir, and instrumental music (string bass), has enriched not only his personal life but also his ability to communicate highly technical information to clients by putting it in the context of his own performance experience. Jason joined Charles M. Salter Associates, Inc. in 1996 as an acoustical consultant, and specializes in architectural acoustics, noise and vibration control, and environmental noise mitigation.

Jason has been involved in many successful design projects, including professional performing arts venues and theaters such as the Disney Concert Hall, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, and Hammer/Billy Wilder Theater. In addition to various higher education performance spaces, he has consulted on the acoustical design of 500-1500 seat worship spaces. He enjoyed working on the new Dougherty Valley High School in San Ramon. Jason's diverse experience also includes film and broadcasting studios and housing projects.
