Diego Hernandez | Senior Consultant

Having a strong interest in math and science, Diego studied mechanical engineering to translate his problem-solving skills into real world situations. He became interested in acoustics after receiving a job offer from one of his alumni. He quickly realized the technical challenges of engineering applied to this field and began to invest himself in this career path.

Since joining the Salter in 2013, Diego’s project experience has included room acoustics and mechanical noise analysis for both commercial and residential buildings, and environmental noise studies. He has been involved in several notable projects, including Alta Bates Summit Medical Center in Oakland and the UCLA Medical Education Building.
